WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela, established in 2004 provides ADMISSION OPEN education to boys from class VII to XII. The College invites applications for admission to Class VII Session 2025. WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela Admission 2024 open now.
Eligibility
Eligibility for WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela Admission 2024 are
- Be between 12 and 14 years on 1st April on the year of entry and have passed 7th class or studying in 8th class.
- Be between 15 and 17 years on 15th August and have passed 10th class (science group) for admission to F.Sc. Part-1 class with minimum 75% marks.
- Age relaxation 90 days (both upper and lower age limit)
Candidate studying in 7th / 8th and 10th classes may apply for Entrance Examination for admission to class 8th and Class 11th (Pre-Engg.) provided they satisfy the conditions mentioned above.
The subjects for Entrance Examinations are:
- English, Urdu, Islamiyat, General Science and Mathematics for admission based on Federal Board Syllabi / books for 7th Class.
- English, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Biology for admission to F.Sc Part-1 class (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical and Computer Science group)
Notice for the Entrance Examination, Medical Test, Interviews etc, are advertised in the national press every year usually in the month of July / August & September for admission to class 8th and March & April for admission to F.Sc. Part-1 class. The centres for Examination are WAPDA Cadet College, Tarbela / Lahore / Multan / Sialkot / D.I Khan / Karachi / Quetta or as advertised. Every Centre needs specific number of students, College reserve rights to change / cancel any center of examination at any time.
Admission to the College is decided on merit, on the basis of the following:-
(1) The Entrance Examination
(2) IQ Test and Interview by the Admission Committee.
(3) The Medical Test.
(4) Certificate of good character from the school last attended.
Decision of the Admission Commitee for WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela Admission 2024 will be final and cannot be challenged in any court of law.
Written Examination, IQ Test and Interview
Written examination will be held at Muzaffarabad, Lahore, Multan, Quetta and Gilgit, Peshawar, Tarbela, Sialkot Karachi on Saturday 12 Oct 2024 Candidates will be tested in the subjects of English, Urdu, Mathematics, General Science and Islamiyat Interviews of the successful candidates will be held in November & December 2024. Classes will commence in April 2025.

Scholarships for WAPDA Employees’ Wards will be awarded at the rates given below, specified by the Authority for WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela Admission 2024.
- BPS 1 to 15 —– Rs.5000/- per month
- BPS 16 and above —— Rs.4000/- per month
After parents meet the necessary requirements, the department where they work will pay them as per policy.

Fee rules for WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela Admission 2024
- Will be charged from the Cadets as approved by the College BOG and notified from time to time for School & College sections.
- All fee & funds, including admission fee, annual maintenance, security, kit money etc., once paid are not refundable and manner of its spending is not accounted for the Parents.
- If a Cadet leaves the College during the session on his own will/parent’s request, no fee/funds will be refunded. Security fee will also not be refunded.
- If a Cadet is expelled / stuck off from the College by the College Discipline Committee, Security & the remaining fee & funds will be reimbursed.
- If a Cadet is absent without official leave (AWOL) or over stay leave (OSL) and does not join the College but later on submits the request for withdrawal, in that case parents will have to pay the fee on the basis of the total number of months unattended in that term.
- If, at the time of reporting at the College, a cadet is found medically unfit by the WAPDA Hospital Tarbela, the fee deposited will be refunded.
- If a student reserved a seat for admission and he does not join the college at all after having been selected and having paid admission fees, nothing will be refunded, as he has wasted College seat for complete session.
- If dues are not paid within due date, a fine at the rate of Rs. 50/- per day for first 10 days and Rs. 100/- per day for the next 10 days will be levied. Defaulters thereafter are liable to be withdrawn from the College.
- Re-Admission, if approved, will be made on payment of admission fee in addition to the fine imposed.
