Punjab Medical faculty has announced the admission in the medical faculty in two year program for the session 2024-2026. Applications are required for admission in Punjab Medical faculty in all government institution under the Punjab Health department. In supersession of all previous orders / notifications issued by the Government, the Competent Authority has been pleased to approve the following Admission Policy for Allied Health Sciences (AHS) (Para-Medical) Courses run by Public / Private Sector Allied Health Sciences (Para-Medical) Institutions affiliated with the Punjab Medical Faculty (PMF), and shall come into force w.e.f. Academic Session 2024-2026.

Admission Notice for 2 years Punjab Medical faculty Courses Session 2024-2026. Applications are required in all Para- medical Government Institutions diploma of two years:

Admission in Dispenser
Dispenser two year courses 2024-2026 by applying online according to the following hospitals. Candidate having your state district (domicile) will be able to apply in these hospitals
- Mayo Hospital Lahore, Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore Services Hospital Lahore, Doctoral School Nishtar Medical University Multan.
- Candidates from Lahore, Gujarat, Sialkot, Jhelum, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Leh, Multan, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan will be able to apply in the Government School of Allied Health Sciences of their district.
- Attock, Gujranwala, Chakwal Mianwai, Khushab, Bhakkar, Chiniot, Mandi Bahauddin, Narwal, Hafiz Abad, Kasur Sheikho Deh Nganeh Sahib, Jhang, Nao Bah Nik Ngu, Okarwa, Khanewal, Vahari, Pakpattan, Bayangar Lodhran, Muzaffargarh, Candidates from Rajanpur and Rahimyar Khan districts will be able to apply at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) of their district.

Eligibility Criteria
The Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the Admission Policy are defined for Punjab Medical faculty admission 2024-2026
Minimum Qualification:
Minimum academic qualification for admission to all courses shall be Matriculation Second Division Science (minimum aggregate average of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
Age:
Maximum 35 years on the last date of applying for admission (both for Government / Private candidates)

The last date for online application for Punjab Medical faculty admission session 2024-2026 is 15.08.24.
Application Fee
The application fee for Punjab Medical faculty admission is Rs.500 non-refundable).
How to apply Punjab Medical faculty admission?
The fee challan will be downloaded from the portal itself. Fee will not be charged in case of demand draft, order etc. Candidates have to apply online by registering themselves on the web portal https://pmfadmissions.phf.gop.pk and uploading the required attested documents on the web portal. A candidate can apply for multiple courses in a single online application.
Notifications (Updates) regarding the notification gazette list and merit list will reach the candidate through portal and SMS. It is the candidate’s responsibility to check their portal on a daily basis after applying.

Quota
The number of nominated persons shall also be in addition to the prescribed seats of the institution. The cover for persons with disabilities is two percent (2%) which is one seat for every 50 seats in the respective category.
Selection Of course
The candidate who is admitted to the course will be bound to take the course. For which the candidate will confirm his/her course on the Rs.100 Ashtam paper that he/she will not change the course later.
Merit list Punjab Medical Faculty
The merit list for Punjab Medical faculty will be done every three days after the first merit list is published. Consent has to be given on the portal every time after appearing on each merit list for three days. In case of not giving consent, the admission will be cancelled.
Classes started from
Selected candidates will be required to report to the concerned government institution or hospital from 28th September to 30th September 2024 and the classes will start from 01-10-2024.

Important Instruction
- Selected candidates will not be given any minutes during training. However, they will be charged the fees recommended by the government.
- Selected students will have to abide by the rules laid down by the Govt.
- Heads of 10 genuine institutions will be obliged to get the matriculation certificate of the elite candidates verified by the relevant board per Alford. Late application must be uploaded on the registration portal.
- Private affiliates and institutions should keep in mind the above rules and dates
- Admission to the above program will be done purely on merit, institutions selected on the basis of priority and criteria of importance through the online web portal designed as per the existing policy of the Department of Specialized Healthcare Medical Education. And Medical Education Department will monitor the online admission process till completion.
- Necessary instructions, schedule and merit list will be uploaded on the web portal for the convenience and guidance of the candidates. Aspirants must read the necessary instructions uploaded on the website before applying.
- Hostel facility is available only in Government Post Graduate Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Faisalabad (formerly Government College of Paramedics Faisalabad) and Government School of Allied Health Sciences, Bahawalpur Hostel facility is not available with other institutions.

Admission Process
Admission process for Punjab Medical faculty session 2024-2026 is
- The admissions shall be made once a year preferably in August/September subject to advertisement by the Directorate General, Health Services, Punjab, Lahore;
- The Directorate General, Health Services, Punjab, Lahore shall publish admission notice in leading national newspapers two weeks after declaration of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) result. The classes shall be commenced w.e.f. 1st October
- All the Allied Health Institutions (Para-Medical) Institutions shall complete the Registration of their admitted students within two months of start of classes; The candidates shall be required to submit Admission Forms [Annex A & B] to the Allied Health Sciences Institution according to the District Tagging within ten days of publishing of advertisement;
- Admission Forms (for public sector institutions) will be provided by the concerned AHS Institution at the cost of Rs.70/-; fund thus generated, shall be kept by the institution as Student’s Welfare Fund;
- Admission Forms with cutting / overwriting shall not be acceptable;
- The stamp of the officer attesting documents must bear his/her full name, designation and current place of duty;

Extra Marks
Extra marks for Punjab Medical Faculty admission is
- F.Sc (Pre-Medical) at least 45% marks: 20 marks to be added in aggregate of Matric marks
- Hafiz-e-Quran: 10 marks to be added in aggregate of Matric marks (described in clause 2.9)
Quota
Quota for Punjab Medical Faculty is
- Disabled: 2% (described in section 2.10)
- No gender quota; no distinction between urban and rural areas; all male, female and shemale persons, are equally eligible to apply
- Hifz-e-Quran Certificate from Madrassa authorized/notified by the Government for the purpose shall be required for claiming additional marks.
- Disability seats will be over and above the open merit seats. Compensation can be made feasible for some disabilities in certain technologies but a candidate should be able to perform in a reasonably independent manner. A disability certificate issued by a board constituted at the DHQ/equivalent hospital will be required.
- There shall be no interview and merit shall be calculated according to marks adjusted according to parameters mentioned above;
- The respective institution shall prepare a detailed merit list of all candidates; admissions shall be strictly on merit and the First Provisional Merit List shall be displayed after one week of deadline for submission of applications. No call letters shall be issued to the eligible candidates. No intimation whatsoever about non-selection shall be sent individually and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained;
- All admissions will be provisional. The Principal of the respective institution shall have the power to review the provisional selection in case of any bonafide error, lapse, mistake, fraud or misrepresentation that occurs or is brought to his notice before completion of the selection process or thereafter and the selection list will be amended accordingly. Mere figuring in the selection list will not confer any right on the candidate if he/she is otherwise found in-eligible on detection of an error/ mistake/ fraud/ misrepresentation;
- The Principal of the institution shall be competent to rectify any error or omission found in the Selection List;
- Whenever two or more than two candidates are bracketed, i.e., they have exactly the same percentage after calculation, the one senior in age shall be given preference to the other for the purpose of admission;
- Applying for more than one category: A candidate may apply for admission in more than one category; however a separate application will be required for each category. In case a candidate is successful in getting admission in more than one category, he/she will accept only one (according to the priority assigned in Admission Form) and the surrendered seats will be offered to candidates lower in merit list. The candidate getting selected in previous round will be considered for betterment/up-gradation in the subsequent round. The betterment/up-gradation herein means the higher preference exercised by the candidate;
- There shall be two or more rounds for merit lists for selection of candidates depending on the availability of vacant seats;
- Complaint, if any, against the selection list may be lodged within 10 days of the notification. No complaint shall be entertained thereafter.
Post-Selection Procedures:
- The selected candidate must join not later than seven days of display of Selection List and issuance of Offer Letter, failing which his/her admission shall stand cancelled. If a seat falls vacant, the next candidate on merit in that category will be selected;
- No candidate shall be admitted unless he/she has paid the fee and other dues. All dues must be paid by the due date, otherwise the admission of defaulting students will be cancelled and next candidate on merit shall be considered for admission;
- Applicants shall be required to submit original qualification documents for verification;
- Information about each admitted student will be sent to the PMF on the prescribed proforma alongwith the Specified Registration Fee by 31st December each year. Registration Number thus allocated, will be used for all future correspondence regarding the particular student.
Distribution of Seats
Allocation of seats amongst Districts will be according to population in Punjab Medical Faculty. Population Quota will be followed for the following categories.
- Dispenser
- Public Health Technology
- Laboratory Technology
- Radiography and Imaging Technology
- Operation Theater Technology
- One seat of dispenser shall be awarded for each population unit of 70,000.

- Candidates from all districts tagged with the institution shall be selected on open merit basis without consideration of separate seat allocation for each district.
- If a Para-Medical Teaching Institution which is not under the administrative control of the Directorate General, Health Services, Punjab, Lahore, has seats over and above allocated districts allocation, it can make admissions without consideration of district quota.
- The institutions shall grant admissions in categories not specified above on open merit basis without consideration of district quota.
Exceptions
- This policy will not be applicable for post-basic courses offered by Government College of Paramedics (GCOP), Faisalabad.
- For admission in Nuclear Medicine Technology offered at GCOP, minimum qualification will be: FSC (1st division) – Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering.
Revisions
This policy shall be formally reviewed after every three years to accommodate district allocation of seats according to the population and to take into account any addition in the number of public sector Para-Medical Institutions. Any emergent policy change will be made on the recommendations of the Governing Body of the Punjab Medical Faculty (PMF) through the Competent Authority i.e. Health Department, Government of the Punjab.
