Punjab Nursing Admission System 2025-2028

Renowned Medical Colleges (Colleges of Nursing “CON”) and distinct District Head Quarters (DHQs) of Punjab Provinces have started to receive applications for admissions in BSN Generic (4 Year Degree Program) for the session 2025-2028. Interested Applicants can apply in the following Punjab Nursing Admission System 2025-2028. (It is notable that Govt. will pay a stipend of 31470 rupees per month to the admitted students.). What is BSN ?

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing is also known as Bachelor of Nursing is an academic cum professional degree. It is also known as generic Nursing program. It is a four year program. It is offered in only DHQs or Colleges of Nursing under the supervision of Medical Colleges. It is a well-paying degree with 100% job opportunities in Govt. & Private Colleges on good salary. BSN consists of 4 years which are further divided into 8 semesters.

Male Nursing Admission

It is a notable that all the colleges are offering BSN only for the girls. Only Governmental Teaching Hospital, Shahdra is offering all the seats to the male candidates. Here, no female can apply for admission.

Female Nursing Admission

BS Nursing is basically suitable for females only so all the Colleges of Nursing are offering admissions to the Female students. Only Government Teaching Hospital, Shahdra is for male. No female can apply there for admissions. 

Important Notes for the Interested Candidates

Important note for Punjab Nursing Admission 2025-2028 are

1. Only Females can apply in all Hospitals except Govt. Hospital Shahdra. In CON, Teaching Hospital, Shahdara, Lahore only male students can apply
2. Applicants must have Domicile of Punjab Province
3. Applicants must have passed Matric and F.Sc Exams with more than 50% marks at least.
4. Age limit has been decided as 35 years.
5. Marital Status (both married & unmarried students can apply) will not affect eligibility criteria
6. 31470 rupees per month will be the stipend
7. Internship salary decision is under negotiation.
8. Applicants can apply online otherwise they can also visit the concerned Hospital personally.
9. This Degree will benefit you not only across Pakistan but also in foreign countries .

Eligibility Criteria for BSN Generic (4 Years Degree Program)

The following criteria have been set for the applicants for BSN nursing admission

Qualification Requirements

Qualification for the nursing admission 2025 is

1. Matric with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology as major subjects) AND
2. F.Sc (Pre- Medical) with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized Board.

Criteria for Merit

Criteria for the Punjab Nursing Admission System 2025-2028

1. For merit, the candidates must have at least 60% marks in Matric Science Group.
2. Marks in F.Sc (Pre-Medical) will also be counted for merit calculations.
3. If more than two students get equal marks in F.Sc (Pre-Medical), their merit will be calculated on the basis of obtained marks in Matric with science.
4. If two or more than two students have same marks and percentage in Matric and F.Sc (Pre-Medical), then the seniority of age of the students will be observed to calculate the merit of the students. The older students will be given the credit.
5. Age not than 35 years on the closing date of application.
6. Coincidently, if many students fall equal in many ways on one seat, the matter will be decided by SHC and ME Department.
7. Females can apply for admissions in all the Nursing Colleges except for the CON Government Teaching Hospital Shahdra, Lahore which is for males only.
8. No candidate should be older than 35 years on the last date of apply.
9. Only applicants domiciled in Punjab shall be eligible.

General Instructions

General instruction for the Punjab Nursing Admission System 2025-2028 are

1. Admissions will be given purely on merit-cum-preference basis as per eligibility criteria devised by the Government and Punjab Health Foundation.
2. Applications could be submitted through online system on the above mentioned web portal devised by Punjab Health Foundation (PHF), Lahore as available on the above link.
3. Important “instructions” regarding admission policies are available on the web portal.
4. The candidates should fill their preferences for admissions in Morning or Evening shifts separately in any of the above listed Nursing Colleges.
5. The interested candidates should have to pay an amount of Rs: 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as a processing fee. It should be deposited in any branch of the Bank of Punjab through Cash Management System (CMS) only. The receipt shall be uploaded on the web portal https: pnas2.phf.gop.pk.
6. Applications received after the given deadline will be rejected automatically, and will not be entertained in any case.
7. Necessary instructions / guidelines, schedule and merit list etc will be uploaded on the above mentioned web portal so keep visiting it.
8. Only completely filled and submitted applications with all the required documents and application fee will be considered right for further process.
9. Applications forwarded to Specialized Health Care OR Medical Education Department, Government of the Punjab OR to the Punjab Health Foundation Or to the Director General Nursing, Punjab, Lahore SHALL NOT be considered for the further process or entertained.
10. Specialized Medical and Health Department will supervise the whole process of online Admissions by all means.
11. Merit Lists for the Morning Shifts of all Colleges shall be displayed before the display of Merit Lists for the Evening Shifts.
12. Candidates who will be selected and join the morning shift shall not be allowed to attend the Evening Shift Program and vice versa.
13. The candidates who have already been selected on merit in the previous sessions on BSN Generic will be discouraged to applying in this session.
14. If any candidate, after her selection on merit fails to join the concerned college within the given time period, her name will be struck off from the admission process and the seat will be offered to the next candidate.
15. Selected candidates will get a stipend of 31470 /month during the said degree program, as per Govt. policy subjected to satisfactory performance (with regard to performing duties as requirement of clinical hours and/or otherwise as required by SHC &MED/DG Nursing from time to time, including requirement of biometric attendance.)

How to apply for Nursing Admission 2025?

The interested candidates can register themselves on the web portal https:pnas2.phf.gop.pk and apply through online system that shall be available from 02-12-2024. The interested candidates should have to pay an amount of Rs: 500 (Rupees five hundred only)as a processing fee. It should be deposited in any branch of the Bank of Punjab through Cash Management System (CMS) only. The receipt shall be uploaded on the web portal https: pnas2.phf.gop.pk.

1. Copy of CNIC of the student (Front and backside)
2. Copy of CNIC of the Father/Guardian (Front and backside)

Last Date to Apply for Nursing Admission

Please note the time and date for Punjab Nursing Admission System 2025-2028, 04:00 PM PST on December 23, 2024. It is the final deadline for applications. Applications received after the given deadline will be rejected automatically, and will not be entertained in any case.

Monthly Stipend

Selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs. 31470 /month during the said degree program, as per Govt. policy subjected to satisfactory performance (with regard to performing duties as requirement of clinical hours and/or otherwise as required by SHC &MED/DG Nursing from time to time, including requirement of biometric attendance.)
